Help us reach more vulnerable children and women in Kassanda District
HVU Wish List
Dear HVU well wishers and friends,
Greetings from Healthcare Volunteer Uganda (HVU), based in Kiddukulu village, Kigalama Parish, Myanzi Sub county, Kassanda District, Uganda.
Our hearts are burdened for the many vulnerable children and women in Kassanda District who have limited access to healthcare, food, and hope. Every day, mothers walk many kilometers to find help, and many children miss school because there is no support.
At HVU, we are on the ground every day walking with families, but we need your help to reach more. God has given us the vision, and we need tools to do the work successfully. Below is our urgent wish list.
1) Transport (to reach remote families)
Double cabin pick-up truck (our biggest need): to transport our medical team and food supplies, and to help sick mothers and children reach the hospital—especially during the rainy season when roads are impassable.
Honda Excel 125cc motorcycles ×2: for field volunteers to reach the most remote villages where no car can pass. One motorcycle costs $1,600.
2) Documentation (to share our story with you)
Professional camera: to capture our work so our friends and supporters can see the real impact of their love.
Documentation tools: (for photos, reports, and program updates).
3) Office setup (to serve better)
1 desktop computer + 2 laptops
Office furniture: chairs, desks/tables, cupboards, filing cabinet
A motorcycle is not just a motorcycle, it is a lifeline to a mother in labor.
A camera is not just a camera, it helps our supporters see hope.
A double cabin pick-up is not just a car, it can act like an ambulance, a food truck, and a carrier of hope.

Important small fix (I need you to confirm)
They wrote: “2 - Documentations”. What exactly is that?
2 smartphones? 2 video cameras? 2 printers?
Reply with what they mean, and I’ll adjust that line perfectly.
